Voice asside, if you look at the steady pace of the dad walking... he is in full control of that situation.
He looks kinda swole under that sweater, even.

Its almost like he was in disbelief that those damn teenagers really made him come out of the house.
But you can tell alot by the pace of that walk.
He obviously recognizes its his kid, but he isn't running or walking fast like its dire... and yet he is not walking slow like he is scared...
Thats a deliberate and consistent casual pace.
When you are in a fight and a dude approaches at that pace thats the type of thing that should worry you. That the pace of a man who is about to dictate what happens next.
