It's very unfortunate but I don't think black people take this issue seriously enough. I want to create something to educate young black women about having kids with absentee fathers this ish needs to stop and it's everywhere where black people concentrate.

It's 2015 how far back are we really talking about. My point is in the western world black fatherlessness is a huge issue that nees to be treated like an aids epidemic.
As long as we are talking about solutions and not the blame game this thread is needed.:ehh:

if you connect the dots oof black poverty disenfranchisement, etc...all the trends are the same; absentee fathers, women raising 2-3 kids by themselves being the father and the mother.ish is disgusting...

Honestly, I think we should start like Big Fathers, kinda like Big Brothers. Single folks, fathers that mentor younger folks. Yes, it's like Big Brother but it think more people would do it and be open to it.

We can talk about single mothers until we're blue in the face, but as soon as we talk about the black men who abandon their children it's nothing, but excuses. And NOT all the black males who abandon their children are thugs either.

That's an idea but I think their needs to be more mentoring at the source before it becomes a problems. Many of these single mothers aren't fit parents either.
