That's an idea but I think their needs to be more mentoring at the source before it becomes a problems. Many of these single mothers aren't fit parents either.

Interesting, because the issue I personally think is poor judgement that both black men and women in these situations have when it comes to who they choose to have children with.

Good question. This is something that a collective of black professional need to invest in...non-profit organization. I want this to be world wide that specifically targets black communities. Mentoring young black womrn and boys/relationship coaches/financial coach/all comprehensive services that work to reverse this trend.

Yes...but I personally believe it's more convoluted than that. I dont just see fatherlessness among the poor nlacks even middke class blacks relative to other races.

I think there needs to be a cultural shift as well in thinking. Many black groups seem to believe that being a womam or a man is to have a bunch of kids without thinking of their welfare.

Well we do have the hood mentality rampant among our race. A mentality as to which many of our people carry into adulthood.

Based on what Ive seen that is a factor into this since the hood mentality gives them bad judgement in a partner.
