So, TNA has been running a Twitter angle in which EC3 filed for an injunction against TNA for stacking the deck at BFG after the contracts were signed. As a result, Fatt couldn't appear on Impact as champion indefinitely. And to get the injunction lifted (because the first available court date would be months away), Fatt is just relinquishing the title.
