Had some Randy's last week, they fell ALL the way off. They *were an institution, a LA staple... back in the day. Today? Don't eem put 'em in the chat. Plenty local spots sharp shoot 'em, but they get a green light off history?

i went to high school in slc so my fav donut spot became banbury cross donuts which is famous for the cinnamon crumb. i would eat like 3 at a time back in the day
i was there earlier this year and got one for the nostalgia and could barely finish it. too damn sweet (it's covered in cinnamon sugar) and it was too doughy. idk if the recipe changed or someone messed it up or my palate changed, but it was a wild experience when your nostalgia gets fd up. it was truly giving FML.
but these days i like the sourcream or the butternut from dunkin.
