that was my show off trick. at the end i was landing em clean almost every time. i was nailing down hardflips too but i landed on my deck vertically right in the fukkin taint and it scared the shyt out of me so i stopped trying them. i started doing a 4 star handrail at a cemetary near my house and almost died one day. All my friends quit and i had no one to skate with so i just kinda stopped and only did it sparatically. Wish i never did, b/c i was actually really good for my age. (stopped skating daily when i was 14, completely when i was 17)
seriously though, i was better than everyone i knew and thought i was doing some sick stuff... then like 3 years later every single kid coming up in videos was doing every trick regular and switch and it blew my mind
Hard flips always felt dope as hell landing, hitting bolts on a hard flip..

I don't know what it was about them, but good lawd I loved sticking them, especially fakie.(Was actually better at them Nollie) I was kinda like you, most of my friends stop skating so I really slowed down too. But then again I was like 21 22. Now I am like Woodabin showing up at the local skate park trying skate mini, talking about back in my day.. 
I was never the best in my crew. One of my best friends back in the day, could do any trick switch or regular. If he did not get hooked on the drugs he could have been special. Dude was a couple years younger then I was. Just a ridiculous great skater.
