It shames me to no end
To feed poison to those who could very well be my kin (uh-huh)
But where there's demand, someone will supply
So I feed them their needs, at the same time, cry
Yes, it pains me to see them need this
All of them lost souls and I'm their Jesus
Deepest regret and sympathy to the streets
I seen them pay for they fix when they kids couldn't eat (so sorry)
And with this in mind, I still didn't quit
And that's how I know that I ain't shyt (I ain't shyt)
- Malice

I'm ashamed I sell crack but I'ma ride for the moment
Know the consequence, I'ma die with The Omen -

not bars so i apologize in advance but this fits the theme perfectly because it's the epitome of self awareness. hell, this could have gotten him kicked out of hip hop for even saying this. damn i miss the old yeezy man, off last call:

I made this one beat where I sped up this Harold Melvin sample
I played it for Hip over the phone, he's like, "Oh yo that shyt is crazy
Jay might want it for this compilation he's doin' called 'The Dynasty'
And at the time, like the drums were really weren't soundin' right to me
So I went and um, I was listening to Dre Chronic 2001 at that time
And really I just, like bit the drums off Xxplosive and put it like with a sped-up sample....

c'mon b you gotta find the same record dre used and then chop the drums different you can't straight take his shyt nikka :laff:

pete, kamaal, extra p & preemo heard that shyt like :martin:

The way a nikka going might go out like Sam Cooke
Or locked up calling home for money on my books
'Cause if this shyt don't work, nikka, I failed at life
Turning to these drugs, now these drugs turned my life
And it's the downward spiral, got me suicidal
But too scared to do it so these pills will be the rifle
Surpassing all my idols, took the wrong turn
But can't go back now so let that blunt burn
'Cause now it's my turn if I fukk it all up
Took a while to get here now I depend on these drugs

Big told me Rae was stealing my slang
And Rae told me out in Shaolin, Big would do the same thing
But I borrowed from both them nikkas

Wanted to rhyme like Common Sense
But I sold 5 mill ain't rhymed like Common since

I will not lose for even in defeat
There's a valuable lesson learned so it evens it up for me
