LOL my experience was three was late. It was 2002 and my family went to Ghana. It ws my first time there. We had a modded PS1 that we traded our N64 in for but fukked it up because we didnt know the voltage was different. We were kids...fukk are we supposed to know about that shyt. The ppl we were staying with had a PS1 but only had the demo disk with Tekken and Crash Bandicoot.

Tekken 5 is easily the best though. Tekken 5 and Soul Calibur 2 are the GOAT fighting games. Only oldheads on their nostalgia horse would disagree

3... I 100% that game when I was little... its always my go to tekken game... cant even stand playing any of the others because they didnt have the perfect soundtrack 3 had or any of the memorable character costumes...

Tekken 2 had some of the best tracks in the series.
Tekken 4 is oddly enough the only game I could play with an arcade stick. There used to be one at Playdium by a batting cage and people would get that work with Kazuya.
Once I faced this black dude who came up saying "You've been on the game long enough." He dropped his jacket on a stool -have no idea where it came from- and he picked Nina.
I think to myself that this guy will be another victim until he takes the first round. And then he takes the second with 75% health. I was fuming. After a few minutes of him beating others I get my chance again and pick Jin.
I had my counters on point that match and beat the man 3-1. Best dude I've ever played.
By the way Tekken 6 humbled me quick facing King online. That first day when they put you up against Tekken masters was brutal.

Tekken 3 for the memories I remember playing it for the first time being amazed by the graphics on my psx (fucc off with that psone bullshyt) and how fluid they moved and the amount of moves....mayne Jin was that dude then they completely wasted him..

3 started it all for me I had the 2 demo as well and could see how lightyears 3 was ahead of 2. Great music and stories too the only negative about 3 was there was no Kazuya but that was part of the story.
First played Tekken Tag in the Arcades it was awesome too (GOAT orchestral soundtrack) but I will always favor pure 1 on 1 over tag team battles

Tekken 2, damn near the first game I played when I got my PS in like '98. The memories and nostalgia are priceless. Tekken 3 at a close second though.
