Tbh i dont think they jacked it, WCW parent time Warner ownerd the rights to most of the original songs and just did smart to have wrestlers use pooular music.

WCW dished out all those guaranteed millions to wrestlers and dropped the bag to everyone from Jay Leno to Dennis Rodman but couldn’t pay some decent musicians to make themes for them. 
Heard this for the first time today in 2K25. What a waste. They should have given this to a woman they planned to keep around.
