If the McDonald's has proof of their side of the story, they should release it. A lot of he said, she said. The mother is correct, the manager was playing games. She did a fake interview with the young Black girl to mark the "I interview a Black person," and the manager also purposefully created confusion during the interview, so she can say that the Black girl was not commiting to working said days, then the manager will hire another Hispanic.

Back in the day McDonald's jobs were desgined for teenagers to gain experience for the real world. They were not designed for middle aged Hispanics.

I have voted Democrat all of my life but I don't think I can vote for an open borders or sanctuary city Dem again.

I wouldn't go that far as to support Trump and never vote Democrat again. The MAGA movement in its essence is a white supremacist movement. Trump's policies fukk over black people in the long run. The dilemma of immigrants being racist towards black people is a complex one. On one hand I really don't bat an eye seeing them get deported. On the other hand masked men rounding up random people on the street isn't good either.
As bad as it sounds I really think black people just need to stick together and make our communities as unwelcoming as possible to outsiders. Not with our mouths but with our money and the resources we do have. Every other group does this with the exception of us. It doesn't mean we have to support Republicans or Trump. It just means we need to practice the same form of racism and discrimination that's practiced on us.

I'm speaking from my experience as a Manager, I have encountered Hispanics using stolen social security numbers, or using ther relatives social security numbers to work. I did not hire them, they were hired by other Hispanic managers in the company, and the way I found out is because the employees would abruptly leave and the other workers would tell me what happened.

On the millennial subreddit someone applied for a cashier job at Target and was told they didn't get the job before they even left the parking lot

This is 2008 all over again, their phone is probably ringing off the hook with people checking the status of their application. I remember going to a Taco Bell/KFC doing open interviews way back then and it was packed. They cut the phone lines off a few days later, I assume because of the amount of people trying to followup.

Regardless of how that woman was acting, if that staff is really all Hispanics in the middle of Atlanta they are purposely shutting out black workers. I was thinking this was somewhere like the Bay Area at first. Even white District Managers/Regional VP's know how blatant they are with only hiring their own once a Hispanic person moves into management.
