I'm not mad at your notion.
So you're for Jamaicans, Nigerians, and other groups of black folks to stop using their tribal name/etc to not acknowledge themselves too?
If black americans can't use the name FBA, then no other black group can identify themselves as such? No identification at all, just skin-tone. You're ok with this?
Are you good with Nigeria and other countries in Africa offering dual citizenship to every black person along with resources and land to every black person with no red tape being involved?
absolutely to all of that.
Listen other than Shea Butter and some hair oils all Hair products globally are created and made by Black Americans. In Africa Dark N Lovely products are expensive but African women that have money buy them.
I’m not a bonnet fan but they sell Bonnets in Colombia.
Actually they don’t have any Black hair care products from america in Colombia they have stuff from Brazil or the Domincan Republic so right there there’s tons of stuff that Black America businesses can sell globally and it would be a snap for any Black country to tariff or outright Ban Black American owned Products.
I don’t think Dark N Lovely is Black owned but you get my point. Africans don’t wear waves but Black Brehitos do. Just imagine if all Black people globally wore Dax wave grease.
No Black American can seriously make the claim that white folks delinate Black americans from other Black people.
To thread the needle. Black people could and should identify their tribal and cultural norms.
I’m Black American who grew up in DC so I listen to Go Go Music that’s a DC thing. I remember taking a breh to the Street parties in Cali Colombia where they were playing Salsa.
They use the same instruments Frankly Salsa and Go Go is the only music genres were you need to have Congo drums.
Go Go is slower than Salsa. I’m not sure how someone pointing out that they’re Guyanese is an issue just like someone pointing out they’re from Georgia.
So personally I prefer the Term FBA over ADOS if I had to pick I wouldn’t want to mess with Tariq’s I.P.
I could print up some Black American shirts, Fly a RBG Flag ( yeah it’s a Panafrican thing but appropriated by Black Americans) No problem but if I made an FBA flag Tariq could would and should sue me.
I literally moved to Africa so obviously I’m for dual citizenship and the fact that Tariq has been there saying that the fact that we can’t get citizenship is wild to anyone who’s ever been to Africa.
