But like somebody else said, that's the exact same way whites, Chinese, Indians, Jews operate.
What? Because we're black/African we're supposed to not chase wealth at all costs like every other upwardly mobile group in the world?
You either compete or get left behind, we've always been competitors in the game of capitalism. It's something most Nigerians take pride in.
Nigerians do have a culture of "get a bag or go home", if you don't have money you're aren't shyt.
