That the real story. Right wing trying to spin this like this whole thing was a FBI plot. But apparently a handful of politicians were seconds away from death.so they were gonna let people die
Either this was a plot by extremist that the FBI was aware off, and showed willful ignorance doing the terror attack and allowed it to go on. Or they were more complicit than that and acted even more egregious. Either way, that’s the main takeaway here. Not that politicians could have died. But that whatever happend and could have happened, the FBI was aware, could have stopped it, and may even be more involved. Half these politicians old as fukk and seconds away from death anyway. Just cause they old fukks. The people don’t really care about that. Only if they would have actually died
The FBI and CIA walk a thin line between infiltration to suppress and infiltration to incite. The public often doesn't find out until decades later.

The riot wasn't a secret. They telegraphed and ADVERTISED that there was going to be a rally on THAT DATE to "take back the country" . Capitol police and law enforcement knew that people would show up.
Law enforcement just didn't prepare adequately, and didn't commit to doing proper crowd control. A couple of well timed bullets into the storming crowds and the breach never would have occurred.
