I just don't feel like thats a good enough reason to absolve them of their accountability.
It's not really the governments responsibility to make sure people aren't defrauding them during a pandemic. These funds were rushed within weeks of the bills being proposed. On top of that, in order to successfully scam the government a person would have to do ALOT of lying and fabricating which shows strong intent to finesse. These people knew exactly what they were doing and did it because they thought they would get away with it.

Above the fray.
Quite the opposite,
This isn't about me not wanting to hold the scammers accountable. This about me wanting everyone involved in this to be held accountable.
the scammers,(illegal and legal scammers) and the ppp loan officers. Everyone needs to held accountable for this
Govt released the funding because of EMERGENCY situation caused by the global pandemic. Checks, balances, screening measures (or lack thereof) reflected the emergency situation.
Doesn't absolve anybody who committed fraud, and doesn't point the finger at the federal govt.

Because what you described is simply an honor system. Every other type of loan has much higher requirements. This basically just asked you to pinky swear that you are qualified for this loan. How come these people never defrauded any other type of loan?
People have lied on documents before and gotten caught after the fact. The relaxed circumstances for the PPP loan was to get money to eligible businesses as fast as possible as to prevent or mitigate the layoffs the companies would of gone through otherwise if waiting for a standard underwriting process. States unemployment systems were being overwhelmed and waiting through a bunch of red tape would of made a bad situation worse.

Now the government knew the risks of people trying to fraud them would happen, but they had bigger problems with the world economy coming to a near halt. That is why they did what they did. Not to entrap people who would fraud them.
You know damn well people dont read contracts. :pachaha:

Lol. Put a wall of text or fine print in front of most people and they’ll automatically check out :pachaha:

I understand it was an emergency and they needed to do this quickly, they still fukked it up, and they should be held accountable for that.

Nah I’m not guilty of PPP Fraud…

But what would should you do if you ran the play and got way too greedy?

-Do you own up to it, and request a deal?

- Do you do the race, and go off grid for atleast 7 years

-Do you just say fukk it. I’m here for a good time not a long time. God’s Plan :heh:

I dunno why ppl acting like the law can't get at folks (everyone on record, who received a loan). They released those lists a year and change ago, of everyone (in every city), who received a loan...

Their govt. name, the city, the business name, amount received, etc...

I remember lookin thru the list, laughing, cuz we seen all types of folks, we knew, held no businesses, gettin crazy amounts of money. :russ:

The other thing was, those lists of ppl, in their respective cities (who received money), wasn't THAT long. Like if the government wanted to commit the resources, to create jobs, and go after the ppl on those lists, vetting each individual who received funds (verifying the business, going to check it out, etc...) it didn't look impossible to do, IMO. :yeshrug:

It's not like millions of ppl in regions received that money. We're talking hundreds, to thousands in a region (which they'll just break down, region by region). Skeptics are overthinking the shyt. :pachaha:

Like someone else said, they got the time, money, and resources to go after ppl. The government will pop up on your doorstep, 4+ years from now looking for receipts. Think it's a game.
