This point here is very accurate as well. Most of an older black voters information on a candidate is going to come through the church, legacy media, and local orgs. While Mamdami did hit up a black church it was towards the end of the primary camgaign at an event with Sharpton and Spike Lee. To my knowledge he wasn't barnstorming black churches or local black orgs but maybe that will change in the election this fall.

We need to stop excusing black boomer voters. They need to be called out loudly and often.

It’s high time we stopped coddling voters. If you’re whit and middle class or poor and voted for Trump you need to be called out. If you’re black and you voted for Hillary and Biden over Bernie, you need to be called out.

These are two widely separate things. Primary voting participation is extremely low vs the actual election. You can blame those not politically active just as much if not more than you can blame older black voters who voted for Clinton or Biden. They're at least active and they're voting based on what and who has "help" them in the past.

The politically inactive and pumpfakers (people who complain, but don't vote) share a much larger percentage of the blame when speaking on primaries.

The word black is not universally negative, only in specific cultural environments. The environment that shaped your perception of the word black is dominated by white people, hence they shaped your perception of the word black and in doing so, and by establishing a society that differentiates people by colour, they defined your identity.

this is true, but as i said, the movie is not a history book, it's entertainment. plus, we're talking the trailer here, not the actual movie. the trailer is designed to attract an audienc, therefore, it focuses on the most prominent members of nwa. mc ren was always my favourite out of the group, but he never was a star. so while i understand that he might feel a certain way about not being included in the trailer, i think he should voice his disappointment differently. the smartest thing would be to wait for the actual movie. if he has legit gripes about the way he or his contributions to nwa are portrayed, he has every right to say so. but still, a twitter rant might not be the best look. he's a grown man, so calmly stating that he didn't like the movie, because in his opinion, the writers took too many creative liberties and focused too much on certain members of the group would be the better way to get his pojnt accross. what he posted on twitter makes him sound like a 16 year old nerd with a bruised ego.
