No I have never had whooping cough despite the vaccine having an 85% efficacy which is less than the mRNA vaccines. It's probably about the same as the J&J

Why is that you might ask? Because 90% of the US population has been vaccinated against it

That's the whole point of herd immunity. It's a lot harder to start a forest fire when the trees are 5 miles apart from each other.
