Yall have to stop arguing about this vaccine shyt. Let motherfukkas do them. If they want to be stubborn & take their chances with the 'rona that's on them.

People have to use some common sense. The vaccine isn't being targeted to just one group of people. People across the globe are taking it.

I hear you but

People are really exasperated and tired of this shyt dragging on indefinitely. The frustration level is incredibly high for many reasons

I am sympathetic to some reluctant to get the vaccine but I just want this fukking shyt over with :damn:

If biden came out tomorrow and said look. Its FDA approved now. It is what it is and we are not going to recommend shyt going forward :hubie: I'd be cool with that. If he urged governors to do a draconian and ridiculously strict lockdown for a while :hubie: I'd be cool with that.

But as long as the country is going to be dabbling in the middle then there is going to be this inevitable push and pull because, if nothing else, americans are stubborn and distrustful on many levels.

Last time I check Cigarettes are approved by the FDA so is fentanyl so FDA well approve anything not mention the fact it normally takes 12 years for a vaccine to approved you know after it's fully tested, it doesn't change the fact these vaccines don't stop transmission Israel and Iceland already confirmed that most fully vaxxed and outbreaks all over, Vermont has the most fully vaxxed people and hospitalizations are up and Hawaii's are up as well and they had 98% compliance with masks and everything but the media won't show you that and I'm sure the people who took the vaccine want to find comfort in that so that's why they post a story or two of someone dying with Covid and didn't get the vaccine to make themselves feel good talking about Pfizer gang yeah meanwhile Pfizer running to the bank meanwhile endless boosters and you're the lab experiment.
99% of people dying are unvaccinated.

I never said i dont get exposed to MMR..
I said i GET exposed but i am immune

I know they not respiratory infections... I'm basically saying how a vaccine should work.. If this doesnt do that then its just a new "flu" shot
well yes, COVID if not contained, will become another flu shot.

No I agree. I was one of the people that isn’t vaccinated, but I was waiting for research & studies to be released to the public so that we can make an informed decision individually. However, my job is requiring us to be vaccinated or do weekly testing. Plus I have people I know personally who took the vaccine & are good money. So I'm feel a lot more comfortable now, especially with the Pfizer one being fully approved.

And those who are dead set against getting the vaccine, it's nothing that's going to change those folks minds so, it's better to spend that energy elsewhere.

But yeah this pandemic really exposed how DUMB & selfish people in this country are.

I was initially hesitant...I'm talking when Trump was president and the development started. Once I was age eligible i got it when it fit my schedule. I didnt rush to the top of the line but I wasnt really arguing either side regardless. I searched out the pfizer one and got my 2nd shot in May. I'm pretty confident in saying you are in the minority..in that someone who is still unvaccinated but was legitimately waiting for FDA approval. I speculated about 25% of those still unvaccinated would use this approval as the deciding factor. Who knows what that number actually is. But coming from someone who at one point felt similarly, I can tell you that you will feel markedly more relieved after your 2nd shot and even relieved after your first just because it was a hurdle to overcome.

Yeah I trust the FDA entirely

Mike-Taylor-FDA-USDA_Monsanto.jpg

:krs: Oooh! That was fun, let's do another one!

Scott Gottlieb (born June 11, 1972) is an American physician and INVESTOR who served as the 23rd commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) from 2017 until April 2019. He is presently a resident fellow at the conservative think tank the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), a partner at the venture capital firm New Enterprise Associates (NEA),[1] [2] a member of the board of directors of drug maker Pfizer, Inc,[3] a member of the board of directors of Illumina, Inc.,[4] a contributor to the cable financial news network CNBC, and a frequent guest on CBS' Face the Nation

Scott Gottlieb - Wikipedia

Wiki just gave the game in two sentences, but to put it in even plainer language, out of a 20 yr career, he's spent approximately five working for government and the rest either on the boards of big pharma or as a healthcare venture capitalist. (Ie, caking.) Oh, and that's when he's not chilling with his peoples at AEI, a notoriously, rabidly right wing think tank funded by everybody we claim to hate, the lead nazi's of our era.

Currently, he's on both the boards of Pfizer and Illumina, a company that- you guessed it- "is a leading developer, manufacturer, and marketer of life science tools and integrated systems for large-scale analysis of genetic variation and function."

And then he hops on over to CBS to tell us to take the vaxx. :mjlol:

But trust him, I'm sure it'll be okay. :therethere:

It is like career progression is some great conspiracy :mjlol:

Regulatory capture/revolving door

It’s silly to think that these big companies don’t have key figures in their pocket. You are very ignorant if you believe that. However if you do believe it you still need to prove it.

@Cynical Thoughts, Please see my post right above this one for examples, but @Umoja, @Rusty$hackleford gave you the right answer. Here's a damn near never ending list of compromised government agencies, including one you may remember: Ken Salazar, head of the EPA during the deepwater horizon situation, in bed with exxon mobile and them. This is not conspiracy, regulatory capture is well documented.

I think they're scared, both of the disease itself and it's effects on contemporary life, so, like pagans after a bad harvest or a plague, they're willing to sacrifice anybody just to keep life "good."

That's why they seem so manic to the rest of us- they're experiencing existential crisis, flailing for a life vest, and their financially- motivated 'priests' have convinced them that we're the problem.

Scary times, but not for the reasons they think. :francis:
