1. Cigarettes are not "approved" by the FDA. The FDA only regulates tobacco product standards. In fact the FDA has been trying to introduce standards that ban the use of menthol.
2. Fentanyl is for severe pain. When used incorrectly it will be dangerous, but for medical patients that really need it, it is almost essential
3. It does not take 12 years for a vaccine or drug to get approved. The a development of a drug or vaccine CAN take anywhere from 7 to 10 years. That process can be expedited by Breakthrough Therapy in cases of a serious condition. But the approval process typically takes the FDA 6 - 10 months under review.
4. "vaccines don't stop transmission" Yeah... that is how vaccines work. Vaccine does not prevent you from getting anything. It teaches your body how to better fight it off.
5. According to the CDC, the two states with the highest percentage of deaths of people who are fully vaccinated are Michigan and Arkansas....with 0.01%. Oh and Arkansas has the highest percent of fully vaccinated people hospitalized at a whopping 0.06%.... So still the majority of deaths and hospitalizations in the country since the vaccine are the unvaccinated.

So please before you start spreading misinformation, do your research.

Moderna is interesting, we've been following it for a while. (By we, I mean me and my man. Him, from the corporate level, me, for the transhumanism.)

As a lay person who reads primary sources, it seems to me that working with mrna was as difficult as quantum computing, in the sense that, we know a lot but we dont known enough. So, like how quantum computing has been "on the edge" of a breakthrough for like a decade, mrna and gene therapy was kinda taking tiny baby steps. Then crispr technology came and gave them the ability to see and fix whatever mistakes might arise.

I said all that to say, without getting into the details of the vaccine itself, the company was sorta waiting for its opportunity. I find that suspect. I personally would trust pfizer more, if forced to chose between the two, and thats saying something.
