The definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results.

Throwing money at the problem solves nothing.

If you have to throw money I'd literally give money to broke ass dudes and kikkimori's and ecourage them to become passport bros and bring back foreign wives.
Japanese dudes are also very racist though and don't want anyone who isn't Japanese.

Racism is literally going to destroy their society because they won't be cool with a bunch of darker skinned people coming in. Even if they're all doctors, nurses, care aides, pharmacists, and scientists. Same thing is happening in China and Korea too.

They put up with white people, but a lot of white people don't actually want to grow old in Asia.

You don't have to seed anyone up, just get married to a Japanese citizen and you get a "spousal visa" that allows you to stay in the country for as long as you're married. Which can be fairly easy if you aim for some of those passed over "christmas cakes".

lmfao, that sounds like some shyt an old japanese grandmother came up with

Like the Chinese and the Koreans, they love to go to "Poor" Asia/"Jungle" Asia and spread dollars and spread seed. (And it's not like there aren't notorious red light districts in China, Korea, or Japan. And all of them are have mistress culture, and none of them have the same weird prohibitions against sex based on religion)

It's not uncommon for any of the "fancy" Asians to knock a local broad up (who's already the lightest of the light) and send money to keep a second family.

A lot of the debauchery Westerners see in Asia - is just capitalism turning their own homegrown industries out for the Farangs.

With China, it was the one child policy.

With Japan and Korea, it's the over-work culture + familial piety + chaebol/keiretsu (business oligarchy) + China doing their factory work and stealing their IP.

I could’ve SWORE I read this exact same article like 5 years ago…

According to the (admittedly low) amount of research i’ve done on the topic, Japanese business culture has basically ruined the family unit of their society. Men are expected to work upwards of 60-70 hours a week and then go out drinking with their bosses to curry favor. They’re so tired that they have no energy to spend with their wives and children which leads to resentment and detachment from the wives.
That's what's happening. Their labor laws are fukked up over there. They work nonstop, take a break eat dinner with their bosses to get in good with them and then go back to work like :damn:. The yen is weak so their pay isn't really enough to sustain a family which is why no one is having kids over there.

South Korea is way worse off.

Tokyo govt to launch dating app to boost birth rate

Japan's capital will launch its own dating app as early as this summer as part of government efforts to boost the plunging national birth rate, a Tokyo official said Tuesday.

Users will be required to submit documentation proving they are legally single and sign a letter stating they are willing to get married.

Stating one's income is common on Japanese dating apps, but Tokyo will require a tax certificate slip to prove the annual salary.

"We learned that 70 percent of people who want to get married aren't actively joining events or apps to look for a partner," a Tokyo government official in charge of the new app told AFP.

"We want to give them a gentle push to find one," he said.

It's not unusual for municipalities to organise matchmaking events in Japan, where births dropped to a new low in 2023, but it is rare for a local government to develop an app.

An interview will be required to confirm a user's identity as part of the registration process for the Tokyo app, which has been on a test run for free since late last year.

Many social media users expressed scepticism over the plans, with one saying, "is this something the government should be doing with our tax?"

Others wrote they were interested as they would feel safer.

Last year Japan recorded more than twice as many deaths as new babies.

Births fell for the eighth consecutive year to 758,631, a drop of 5.1 percent, preliminary government data showed. The number of deaths stood at 1,590,503.

The nation is facing growing labour shortages, and Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has promised policies including financial aid for families, easier childcare access and more parental leave.
