I saw a thread about this in the chicago reddit. I don't watch WGN news UNLESS its during the week and its the mid-day news. in the morning, I go with the local fox news for some reason EVERY day.

i've watched every event i've been interested in on their apps. no blackouts, a few buffering issues or streams that cross over to another sport, but nothing a quick page reload doesn't fix

I got blacked out of a basketball game yesterday and the second half of a tennis match today

So it is happening, but the things I was blacked out of never came on tv so the reason is hard to tell

You can't have all of the events happen at the same times because there are people that want to actually go watch other events and they want the stands to look full on tv.

2 things:

1) Of course NBC gonna be tight with their shyt..they spent a grip to get the rights to the olympics.


2) How are nikkas still complaining about delays when u can watch every even live thru either your phone or tv?

tbf, not everyone wants to watch the Olympics on their phone or tablet. With all the channels that they have aired events on, there really is no reason not to air everything live on television instead of sitting on the footage for hours for tape delays.

nbc have shown marquee events live when they are in primetime, they will show the 100m and 400m final tonight LIVE, most of the swimming finals hae been live, even the long as 10,000 meter was live
