what happens if shyt drags on and he can't make a payment?

That's kinda on the Fed who spends all of their money because they have a guaranteed check coming in two weeks.

Nothing is ever 100% certain. I'm confident that my check will be there on the first but I have a substantial reserve to pull from if necessary.

One reason I left the country is because I lost my DOD contracted position but as a 100% DEI disabled employee I could get a job pushing paper at Commerce of something but living in DC means that I'd get a FED job probably have to work my way back up and be subject to a shutdown rug pull like just happened.
Navy Fed snatching that first check once the back pay hit. Run off on em if you want to :pachaha:

Navy Federal and USAA have programs like that. They see your direct deposits so they know you're a government employee. But last I check they'll give you up to $6000 interest free that's due in 90 days
Yep but that 6 is based on your salary you get deposited. If your last check was 1500 you ain’t seeing $6k

Anybody else furloughed?

I am.

Got assigned as essential for a few hours though to complete something then went back home.

As of Sunday I will be

Our current division will cease to exist after Sunday. We had reserve funds so our last work day is today

Our start date for the new division was supposed to be Monday. The new division doesn't have reserve funds

I am going to enjoy my time off. However, I feel bad for people who live paycheck to paycheck and or don't have savings

I don't see this lasting longer than 2 weeks. They typically last 8-10 days. Either the Dems will cave or the powers that be willing force Trump to cave. It's always bad for business overall that the government isn't operating

You're always curious about working capital fund agencies. Cuz you guys keep working until the funding runs out. I'm in an appropriation agency, so we stopped working as soon as the funding stop.

are you prepared for a couple months of this?
Financially I am. Just tired of the back and forth. But like Coco, I'm not going to complain about the time off. I just hope they don't snake their way and not giving us our back pay.

Do we know how long this could last? I go back to work November 4th. They just put in my travel authorization. I guessing my tickets won’t be able to be bought since the Army “pays” for my tickets?

I’m a contractor. I don’t know how our contract is funded as in monthly or the whole year. I’m thinking quarterly but when does our quarter start is the question.

We are operating still. People have to be ISR’ed but For how long idk.

Hopefully they can fund the govt soon. I got a VA claim that needs to be processed too.

Thank God I got some money saved up man :snoop: :snoop:

And God bless whoever is being personally affected by this my old ahh coworker crashing out worried texting bout this.
Yeah it's messed up. But I also take some personal pleasure in seeing some of the Trump voters in the government stressing about not getting paid.

Not currently (God forbid), but I'm shook brehs...

fukking despise this admistration for the stress alone
One of the many reasons I took DRP. Hated coming in and thinking I was gonna meet the same fate those Feds did out in Frederick where their badges didn’t work and they sent them the email saying they were let go on a Sunday when no one was in. fukk that. Someone would’ve had to pay that day.
