your brother was probably a qualified and excellent soldier. It's going to be a bytch to replace him (that's how the military is looking at it). Military in general has a large recruiting problem as most new candidates are unfit for service. I don't think it's a "put all the black people on the frontline" type of thing.Meanwhile they're ramping up recruiting for the military. My brother just got out and they offering $15K in bonuses for him to come back. I'm sure it's more for special positions.
