Looks like Trump's play is to re-activate the case, focused on democrats (Clinton) or people who can't buy (JP Morgan/Dimon, who refuses to play ball with the administration). If that case is active the file can't be released by congress. We'll see what happens.

Honestly I think the real end point is gonna be some 1970s shyt where someone within government just hands the files to the NYT.
