When your dealing with inflation, those who get the freshly printed money first (banks and major corps)before the actual inflation hits benefit the most. As the money works its way through the system the inflation hits, and the money begins to lose its value. So the dollar the rich get is actually worth more than the same dollar when it gets to the bottom.
