Because they lack financial literacy...you can have a billionaire income and still find yourself in debt up to your eyeballs and be living check to check depending on your life decisions. Jewelry and exotic cars and clothes aren't cheap, are purchases and not investments and a lot of these dudes come out with a high credit line due to income from shows and album sales so they finance extravagant purchases they cannot afford in reality. Many times all while being in debt to the record label as well.
