Facts....

I’m from Ohio and got good peoples in Akron....that city is basically projects, hoods and blue collar.....their demeanor is exactly what I’d expect, real and down to earth. Probably aside from Ali, he may be the most approachable global megastar that’s existed.
Akron Breh checking in:wow:

Its literally impossible to have more hype than 2003 Lebron James
Maybe not more but if young James ended up being as nearly as good as his pops the hype would be just as much especially with Twitter Instagram and Facebook around for everybody to hype.

You’d think so, but attention spans are so fractured today it’s very difficult for any future superstars to match the levels of fame that the previous generations enjoyed. Like today’s pop stars can have 2.3 million Instagram followers but sell less than 100 physical copies. Today a lot more people can have a general awareness of who you are but a far less of a percentage of those people will have an active emotional participation in your work. Lebron was leading a SVSM team with no other D1 caliber players vs every super prep team there was at the time barnstorming nationwide. That’s really difficult to ever duplicate. We’ll see.
