Lol fareal tho, I dont remember many young cats that I grew up wit who was about pistol play so young, as we got older of course some nikkas went to college and some nikkas turned street, but as a whole most younger cats just threw the hands then went on about our day.

That's how it was for me as well. Nobody got really serious about the violence until I turned 21-22. That's when nikkas started getting merc'd. I didn't grow up in a large town, however. I know it's hard in bigger cities to not grow up too fast.

Yea, I grew up in Detroit so it was different, but still nikkas aint start talking gunplay until about 18 and older right after HS ends you know thats when nikkas either become full time street cats, or start working or going to school and shyt, so even growing up in Detroit as a youngin nikkas wasnt thinkin bout bussin straps until we got older.
I'd be lying if I said it was 'all about the fists' 'back in my day'. Naw, they were even quicker to kill you back then. Remember people getting killed for their 'starter jackets' or someone getting shot for stepping on someone's shoes? This newer generation is much more calmer, which is a positive to me.
