I love my home, but it’s not nearly as progressive here as it should be.

Soon as I drive a few hours west to Dallas or Houston I see how progressive they are and it’s shame we can’t have that here. Its mostly due to old school politics, bigots, and other small minded cacs.

New Orleans is like a whole different state within the state of Louisiana.

Louisiana shares a lot of characteristics with the bordering East Texas and Southern Arkansas than it does New Orleans.

Gotta love the fact that my state simply says "because nikkas in the south are stupid, wear masks in doors just to not worry about someone's bytch ass cousin visiting them."

My state Delaware is doing PHENOMENAL with covid, as if damn near every northern state. The south is ass and will always be because republicans are in absolute power. They always been asshats and will forever be.

There is no mecca for black people in the south. The DMV is the furthest you should go as a sane black person. Only people who have no choice should be living in the south, real talk.

Baltimore and Philly are 1 hour away, while having a 4400 square foot house and surrounded by upper class black people (who work in baltimore, dc, philly)

Everyone with an education buys in places like my city while collecting them checks in other states. Oh and the value of our homes went up 25% in the last year wooh.

My sister graduated from Del State Uni. Fun times going down there to visit. My first time ever going to Walmart was in Delaware Hearing the Nascars racing around the track was cool too. Besides that, Delaware is a cool lil lowkey spot.
