Stay in the gym from your twenties
and develop discipline
you wont have to worry about :flabbynsick:ness
It aint just gym
Watch your diet, don't drink too much or smoke, get a decent night's sleep, go to the fukking doctor once a year and dentist twice a year, drink atleast a half gallon of water everyday

I’m 40

Only concern in life is health

I don’t drink and don’t smoke which is a plus as a black man

I gave up on having kids when I was 35..

Only problem u run into if u are single when u older with no kids, is that 70% of women u meet have children

I would only deal with a woman with 1 kid and that kid has to be a good obedient kid and older.. no kid under like 15…

One thing for sure.. many older women in my age bracket is quick to fall in love with u and wanting to have marriage even before u let her know your last name

I'm 28 now and I am starting to worry about my health a little bit too. I want to get my lungs and heart in better health. I want to drink less and kick my nicotine addiction. I have got a back injury which is going to stay with me for life but I would like to minimise it as much as possible

im 28 now. My biggest fear is being in the same spot or worse financially when I’m 40. I don’t want to have to worry about money when I’m that old.

It’s the opposite for me. I don’t want an “ain’t shyt” family, like a lot of dudes especially cacs have. Wife not putting out no more and the kids ain’t shyt. They don’t respect you or appreciate you. I can’t live like that, a lot of middle aged men are miserable at home so they compensate by doing 60hr work weeks just to stay away from the crib a lil longer :francis:

Better to have no family than a bad family

Only about my folks because they're getting older

That's about it. The rest? I'm simply taking things as they come and trying to experience all the things in life I want, now, while I can and have time to

Same, my parents are both retired and they're in their mid-60s now

health, isolation, and the world my nephew and nieces are inheriting

lately, im thinking about my parents because I wasnt raised by them....barely have a relationship with my mother, dont know my father at all...but if something was to happen to them the responsibility falls on me...and they're still reckless in their 60s

Wouldn't mind finding a wifey, but my biggest concern is my older family members dying. Watching your parents/grandparents get older and less healthy sucks. :francis:

As far as hypertension, already have that issue :yeshrug: but it was probably inevitable. My dad has always had terrible blood pressure (neither of us is fat) so that shyt was always coming for me.

I’m not gonna really respond too seriously bcuz that sounds personal…nothing wrong with a teacher talking with students who need the reinforcement at home to do homework especially when it ties in to the next class’ lesson…considering that to be “rude” and “dictating” is over the top especially when that didn’t fit into my style of teaching at all

There is something wrong when they follow a rigid script.

I don't have a problem pushing kids who are struggling to keep up with the rest of the class. I applaud teachers who encourage students to go beyond the syllabus and provide parents with guidance on finding material that will help their kid's development.

What I cannot condone is dictating that kids do repetitive tasks that are clearly beneath them. It is a waste of time. It eats into time they should spend with their parents or have to themselves.

The irony is that I actually spent more time studying that people who attended class and did their homework. I actually found it fun when I didn't have to waste my time with repetitive crap.

that’s fine doesn’t apply to me…there’s literally no debate here.

I know the type of teachers so I wasn’t being facetious when I said it sounded personal

I feel ya! One advantage for men is that we can have kids at any point… we don’t have an expiration date…. How old are you?

30s.

And my thing is wanting to be young enough to run up and down with my grandchildren. I'd like to be young enough to see my grandchildren start families of their own.

I just seem to fall asleep now
Deep sleep
And people don't wake me up because they think I need the rest

I was always the type to take little naps
it was normal for me to take 10 minute naps at work
Or 10 minute nap before dinner

Last week it was 10am , seated at my desk, and I remember thinking "hmm maybe a nap??"
I woke up at 4pm...like, what happened? :flabbynsick:

Work wife had pinned a note to my shirt saying call her when I wake up
She told me she had checked on me twice but lately I had seemed exhausted so she let me sleep

Sometimes i get home before wifey
A couple weeks back I laid down at like 5:15
Woke up at 1am to urinate
Wifey is asleep next to me...im like wow
I go to bathroom and immediately fall back asleep
Next morning wifey wakes me up like ""hey rip van winkle you gonna be okay??"
Cause I had basically slept for 12+ hours
But she was like " you seem real tired lately" and she didn't want to wake me

Thinking about it...some day I am gonna go to sleep and not wake up
I'll be like that old cat who had been dead for 3 days and his people were like "well he just needs to rest"
