The most important thing about cooking is SAFETY!!!!!!!!! Never shortcut safety....

Learn how to thoroughly use, clean and maintain cooking equipment.

I would suggest starting out mildly and slowly then work your way up in difficulty.

Recipes are cool to start out with and then when you're comfortable you can tweak them however you like.

Seafood and anything baked>>>>>>>>>>>>surprisingly they're some of the most easiest things to cook also. The key to baking anything is just seasoning it correctly and not letting it dry out, seafood is GOAT IMO because you can get a two pound bag of shrimp and steam that shyt up, all of ten minutes to do so and it's healthy as hell.

A little advice..... If you want to drop weight really fast, your diet will consist of a bunch clean foods. Clean foods are foods that require little to no cooking in order to consume healthy. My diet consists of......

Hot/Cold Cereal or Fruit at breakfast(NO GREASE at breakfast)
Salads(Vegetable or Fruit) /w water at lunch
Balanced dinner


When starting a diet you need to monitor closely or even eliminate foods that are cooked in heavy grease and flour until your metabolism is very active. Carbs are good if you know how to utilize them as long as they aren't consumed in large quantities without exercise. Follow this, drink plenty of water and exercise regularly and you'll drop the weight quickly.

do you learn by just looking at recipes online? But if you don't know what you're doing wha'ts the point?
i want to lose weight and since i eat out most of the time, there's no way this will be possible. So i have to learn how to cook, but it seems overwhelming.
1st thing dont eat & go to sleep, do somethin to work of some calories.... baking is typically healthier than frying cause the butter & grease...
learned from my moms havin to make homeless struggle plates so i can make damn near anything a feast....i had my kids turn wonder bread into family pizza night & made shrimp pasta wit ramen noodles & lied & said it wasnt ramen :mjpls:.... when with my bm i did 40% of the cooking, my mom taught her too, after i ditched my bm i did 90% of the cooking & had my kids handle 10%... i have 2 methods for you to study, try #2 tonight & tell me the results breh.... start #1 tomorrow....

Process #1: PRACTICE... just buy a cookbook, dvr some cooking shows & try out some rachel rey shyt... my mom & my love are the best cooks i ever met & they both are mostly self-trained & they watch all them kinda shows.... youll learn it all.. they throw down...

Process #2: BLATANT fukkERY...my brother dad would just look at left overs then grab random shyt, season it & throw it together... this dude would be like "shrimp, spaghetti, lasagna, cheeseburgers tonight" :heh: the fukk is that shyt??? hed throw a plate of some unrecognizable shyt in front you & be like "thats korean, jamaiican, pork chop, stir fry with spanish rice" :mindblown: shyt ended up bein fire though & i got love for dude but when he went into the kitchen we was :lupe: there was gonna be a struggle plate of fukkery....
