You should want your kids to be better than you. I would want him to take some of my good traits and improve on my not so good ones.

I want my son to be better than me as well but I want him to have the good traits. So far so good.

He is better than me at Sports.
We are about the same academic wise
He isn't nearly as girl crazy as I was at his age which I am very happy about.

My main thing is making sure he takes High School alot more serious than I did. I made sure I did enough to get by and made sure I was eligible for sports but I didn't really apply myself at all.

But when its said and done, if My son ends up Married with his own house and soild job by the time he turns 30 like me, I'll take that
