You do know that Android is just a modified Linux kernel for mobile and that the AOSP (Androids open source project)source code is open and available to be looked at & modified as see fit right (Plus Linux, BSD>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Mac Os windows)

Do you also know that most of the modified Android OS aka custom roms are made and verified by multiple members of the open source community to assure they DONT leave anything in that can get back to google AKA google play services,GCM etc.I trust that more than IOS which is closed source.Plus most of the data collection is due to sheer ignorance of OPSEC
