I actually listen to their story and when it gets too long or when they're done i tell them something like "I don't know what to tell you, maybe you should talk to someone else about this.". Some of them will gain respect for you, some of them will hate . stand your ground. It's possible to be polite but tell the truth at the same time. I'd rather not spend my time listening to their stupid stories unless they are funny (most aren't). And if i'm doing something i'm not letting them interrupt with their BS, fukk that.

Ive trained myself to not listen to women pretty much all the time and just pick up on key words or phrases. The rest of it is just filler anyway.
