If I buy an XBox One, which is a big if, I'll still go with physical copies. I have a large collection and enjoy being able to display it, etc.

Disc.

My HDD will be capped out eventually. Easy way to rotate games on HDD , unless I buy a second one. Don't want to redownload a >25gb game when I have bouts of nostalgia.

Then there's the ability to trade in, should the game's publisher allow it. (Microsoft does :umad:)

WTF? Everything spies on you.

Spoken like a true idiot...

No prior console has recorded (video and audio) and uploaded it to the console manufacturer.. What the fukk are you talking about...

My HTC ONE does not record (video and audio) automatically then send it to HTC.

My Laptop does not record (video and audio) then upload it to Lenovo...

None of the above even require or have mandatory online to function...

Do you get the damn picture, fool?

Hard copy and digital. It depends on the game and if I feel like going to the store. Digital is the future n I welcome it

TYRONE GA!
I wonder how Sony is gonna work out a system that allows you to play games directly off the hardrive but you don't have to check online. How are they gonna stop people from installing and playing the games on multiple systems?

Sounds like a good thing to me bruh

I always knew the day I'd retire from video games would come.

I just though it would be becuz my future wife would be like :hmm: while I'm playin Mass Effect V and she's juggling Easy-E Jr and lil Easilia.

Not because gaming companies want to Skynet us.

I guess I will have to move to PC, but, I was trying to play my old copy of Fallout 3 (threw that idea in the busshhhess quickly-- I can't lose that much life time anymore) because Mircosoft makes you download Games For Windows just to play it. I gotta have Origins just to play Mass Effect 3.

The problem is; most ppl are, prolly like @Teal and they make it cool to invade our privacy like that.

I know the man can spy on me thru my dishwasher, but, I'm gonna qtleast make them give an effort.

*the rant continues*

How long before the govt assumes control of our X Boxs, in the "name of national security"? Why is that's we are so afraid to go without, even at the expense of our dignity?

I obey the law, I pay my dues, in the gumbment, why must I be connected to the grid, in order to consume entertainment.

Its like EVERYTHING gotta be connected online to use. I get smartphones, streaming service and online games. But, a whole console????

Why do I have to connect to verify I'm not stealing? Let GameStop, Best buy, Amazon, etc prove to u that I paid for this, yo!

And companies are faking off data mining. Third party companies are peeing there pants and all these ppl sharing their lives for their profit. And ppl think ":troll: it secure, I got a strong password on my Facebook page."

I don't like the future of this new "sharing" we're being strong armed into doing.

I finally got a smartphone because I could find a nice, non Android (Googles Is Watching :hmm:) joint. But, here Microsoft is, playing that same game with the X-Box.

Man,I can't...

I ain't ranted online since :hamster:dam

publishers can create their own middle man software that checks their servers for authentication. maybe your PSN account tracks what activation codes you use or maybe the publisher has their own account.

serial code comes in the package you buy the game and plug the code in online and game is locked to your account. game doesn't fully boot without online access.

if Sony allows publishers to implement their own DRM its likely gonna play out something like that. as for first party titles i'd imagine either they too do an activation code or they require disc verification randomly or something like that.

Google is the king of mining your data. every service they provide is so they can collect your info and sell it to advertisers. i wonder how many Android stand are complaining about Kinect potentially spying on them all the while having a cellphone that reports back damn near everything they do on it.
