Nah. Not with this defense. Other teams will catch up and the secret is out to just paly aggressive because the defense cannot stop anyone. Bellichick's ego led him to letting Chandler JOnes and Jaimie Collins go. Our defense never recovered from it. Hightower covers up a lot but once he went down it was a wrap. We need another corner, another stud LB because Hightower is always hurt, pass rusher and a bigger running back.

They held the 7th highest scoring offense of all time to 21 points in the SB last year after letting those dudes go. Granted they still probably should have lost but god damn.

Didn’t they give up the fewest points in the league since like week 5 going into this game?

They just ran into a team that was better than them.

They just ran into a team that was better than them.

That team had Hightower and Butler still playing pretty well and Matt Ryan shyt the bed. The plays were there and he missed them. The schedule and BRady covered up how bad this defense was this year. Belichick's defenses have been giving up chunks of yards for years and people hide behind "bend but don't break." Revis, Browner, Collins, Jones and Hightower were elite that one year. That is it.
