So "Star Wars" is a confirmed Stillmatic leftover
also it says Nas worked with Kool G, Pete Rock & Q-Tip during the album??
where them tracks at![]()
The pete rock joints are more than likely the 2 beats for 'the art of it" and "queensbridge politics" from The Lost Tapes 2. Pete probably gave him the beats and he just used them later. The same thing happened with Large Pro for "Ur da man". He gave nas that track around 1998 and he didn't use it until 2001. He took so long that Large pro created another song using the same vocal sample for his own album !st Class. Those tracks could have been used on the 2nd half of the album cuz they could have replaced My Country, Every Ghetto, and Rule.So "Star Wars" is a confirmed Stillmatic leftover

Yup. Nas recorded 30 songs for Stillmatic - Purple, Everybody's Crazy, Doo Rags, No Idea's Original and Black Zombie were also from those sessions.
The G. Rap song mighta been Holla Back song that ended up on The Giancana Story but without Nas? Has kind of a Stillmatic vibe to me
