Haven't watched Lin, but it it would be hard not for someone to have played better than Felton these last few games. But I doubt Lin is playing better now than when Felton was healthy and his shot was dropping. All Felton needs to do is cut down on these poor shot attempts and we're good. He's still not turning the ball over and he runs the shyt out of the pick and roll, and I highly doubt if Lin was here that Tyson would be eating the way he is now.
and Lin has good court vision, that's news to me

Last year he was average and didn't show many flashes of being any better than that. There was a few times where Lin would miss or look off of our players when they were in good positions to score. He was good at finding and hitting our cutters to the basket though, and decent at running the pick and roll, but otherwise he was just adequate, not exemplary in any way. Lin was also a very streaky shooter too, just as bad as Felton is, which was kind of alleviated by his aggressiveness and his ability to get to the rim, he also didn't take the kind of bad shots that Felton is taking now though so I'll give him that too; But when Felton is on he's probably the better jumpshooter and can carry the offense at times.
I mean I can't really make a judgement on who's better right now though because I haven't been watching Houston, but that wasn't the point of me saying all of that, all I'm saying is that Felton has been able to replicate Lin's production from last year and then some, and that Lin didn't do enough to justify keeping him considering the salary hit we would take. So unless Lin starts balling out consistently at a high level, I can't say letting him go was a mistake, but I'm glad he's working out for you Houston fans.
