I got that alert last night. Read it once and immediately knew she wasn't "missing " she went voluntarily. Police department trying to keep the public on their side and her a sympathetic figure talking about the assumption is she was taken against her will.
She is almost certainly sleeping with and looking out for him. Height and the dangerous background had her bewitched. This will end badly for 'em all, obviously. He tried to kill his ex and is in for murder, and that's in large part what made him so appealing to her. Gonna be a real gut punch for her when he snaps in a couple of days and inevitably kills her too. They'll find him and later her body. This one has potential and the media can definitely squeeze a few weeks out of it even though the ending and plot was telegraphed a mile away.
