Yep. I've dabbled. I knew medieval history and latin before I knew greek, so I worked backwards.I never could get into that. I've always been interested in the Hellenistic period and that's what I'm researching now in grad school. It's just on such a bigger scale. The Classical period is just the history of Greece; the Hellenistic period is the common history of Africa, Asia and Europe
