You could probably beat 90% of the planet with just a good jab. Footwork and a good jab is torture to most novices.

you don't even need to knock a random out really. once you get hit 4 times in 2 seconds not knowing where the pop came from it will def force you to re evaluate continuing with the interaction. And if they try to panic shoot :ohlawd: A lovely 6 - 3 pivot off will have them looking ridiculous and or slumpedd

I respect the art but these dudes that disrespect other arts because they took BJJ got to go.

This dude didn’t want to anything but to show how “superior” BJJ is to boxing… probably because he can’t box.

Meanwhile everyone smiling, laughing, joking… nikkas look like they were play fighting just to get hugged up on chick and put some meat on her thighs

BJJ even be having some females in their unrealistic egos. I told this story before about an ex’s mother who thanked me for not beating her daughters ass… that ex took BJJ too :mjlol:

it is great for this though… or helpful. Main goal for any woman (or man even) is to get tf away from the situation if it’s self defense

Chick did great by getting away. Honestly if she took Muay Thai a couple leg kicks would’ve had buddy contemplating his decision a lot quicker but you really never know. It’s never really about the art than it is about the artist
I heard many self defense experts say grappling combat styles aren't very good for self defense, because you usually not gonna be in a 1 on 1 scenario and their friends aren't going to sit there and let you choke everyone out one at a time.
Boxing actually is best because being able to sleep people with one quick strike afford you better options when dealing with multiple adversaries or at like provides an opening to escape.
We've seen real life videos to support this outlook too.
case in point the video below, dude knocks out three assailants in three seconds. No holds or arm bars or whatever can do end a fight that quickly.

Yeah I didn’t need much video evidence to know this.

I don’t think I’ve been in many 1v1 type fights since middle school

I usually try to avoid fights altogether as an adult and rarely would i expect it to be a fair one out in the streets. I’m usually not the aggressor which is fine, but I really wasn’t interested in rolling on the ground with nikkas.

“All fights end up on the ground…” I guess if you’re trying to take it there or get knocked out, yeah.

I had a homeboy who did all this shyt FOREAL before it became popular (BJJ, fought amateur, had a long record, etc) and even he was telling me about a story where he was getting jumped by skateboarders. He said all that MMA shyt went out the window… not only was he being swarmed some were also using the boards as weapons

But I’m still willing to go to the ground though, just not going to purposely put myself where I can get hit, stomped on, stabbed with something off the ground, etc. Real life is not in a ring or cage. I still know a little of a lot, but I really didn’t start my martial arts journey to use it to start shyt, bully people, etc.

Kinda the opposite with a lot of BJJ people i know. The only scenario I see it being completely helpful is if you in a small room with someone like a cell.. who’s trying to be at that point with no guarantee it will help you 100%

She's a beast but it seems like most of the guys' motivation was copping a feel and tapping (that ass) out. :pachaha:
Fine as hell
Young nikkas are different. Couldn't be me :hubie:When it comes to combat sports I treat women like I do the men.
