This shyt probably goes back to day 1 of the semester. The teacher is probably a soft pushover who none of the students respect from off that rip. That equals bad results, especially if the class on some "the wire" type shyt. Because let me tell you, there are some kids off the fukking chain with their behavior nowadays.
Most likely, ever since the start of school in August, she has tried to make the students do their homework, which they never do. There is little to none participation from the students when it comes to in-class discussions/involvement. She's probably been cussed out a few times. Probably has been a bunch of fights she has had to break up herself. There are probably 3 to 4 students in that class who stay getting sent to the principal's office or suspended on a rotation. She's just there to teach assignments she wants the students to present. Like teachers didn't sign up for all the extra baggage.
It's easy to say for someone to remain an adult but we aren't the ones having our emotions challenged on a weekly basis from Monday-Friday.
I agree we need more brehs with strong leadership roles in schools, especially in high school and middle schools that are majority black.
Teachers need raises and we need to promote becoming a teacher more often. In my state, there is a shortage of teachers so if you go to school to become a teacher you basically got a spot somewhere.
But let me tell you, I had a roommate last year who was going to school to become a teacher. They don't teach how to deal with students on this level.
I mean they do on a text level, but the reality is a whole other animal.
I've smashed a few females who only teach on an elementary level and they are having mental breakdowns on the daily lol
Teachers need to realize you gotta have great social skills and a strong ass mindset to deal with children.
People forget how easily we all pissed off our parents back in the day... so imagine these bad ass kids today.... and you're a teacher.... teaching 20 of them.
