I'm gonna say this again: If I'm in the company of a woman and I think there is even the slightest chance that we could ever have any type of physical altercation, I remove myself from that setting and relationship. I scope that shyt out from second one. I refuse to engage any woman that presents a possibility that she will do any of the following: spit, punch, kick, etc. In the decade I've employed this rule, I've never even came close to a violent situation where a woman would assault me. So I agree with OP, if there's a chance that the woman you are with has the potential to initiate an assault, then you need to move on and wish her well. Period. But we should not be hitting women unless its a life or death situation.

This is why that double standard is detrimental to both men and women. Had she pulled this on a guy who had less restraint on the street, she could have gotten herself seriously fukked up.
