If this was already posted then my bad.

I was on twitter and I saw this tweet, which was interesting. The chick that called in Tariq show to show support for #YouOkSis was told by the head black feminist to stop speaking about.

Basically, don't try to prove the legitimacy because there is non, just tweet the hashtag until the law passes.

nikka, this video is from 2010 when it was already pretty much thrown in the bushes. The tweets are from a week ago breh. The YouOksis movement doesnt have nothing to do with a law against street harassment. Why the fukk are y'all worried about this? Is this another bait thread?

"verbal rape" charges coming soon, dudes gonna have to register as sex offenders

I see little to no women of color against this neither it's there men that will get caught up in this

Believe me there is a target group for this and it's not white dudes although they do most of the craziest harassment of women anybody that's hung out around drunk white dudes at a club know exactly what I mean

I hope once this law goes into effect though dudes finally learn to be a lot more selective in the women they chose to approach or even complime, hopefully this ends a Era of gassing chick's up
thats some bs for real. Hell I dont mind ppl coming up talking to me, complimenting, telling me to smile or even trynna holla or cat calling. wait til these hoes get old and feeling insecure about theyself then they going to hate themselves and go home to they houses with 30 cats and wish these same men would approach them. Call me what u want but sometimes I can be having a bad day and a mf trynna make me smile with compliments or trynna holla, makes my day alot less shytty.

@midwesthiphop I think the stat has implications that if black women are stating this in the survey, it is likely they are experiencing this from black men. That's just my opinion.

Just read the report they actually never touch on who does the harassment by race which is interesting, what your quoting is the races of the people who took the survey

What was interesting is that although a vast majority of the respondents were white, white women are actually far less likely to report something as harassment as opposed to black and Hispanic women

Race: 1,566 respondents were White, non-Hispanic (77%), 195 were Hispanic (10%), 143 were Black, non-Hispanic (7%), 80 were other, non-Hispanic (4%), and 56 were mixed race (3%)."

Obviously this is a small sample survey, but that is an interesting stat :lupe:

:what: C'mon Breh...

1. The "#youoksis" hashtag is being pushed by the same lady in the video.
2. The lady in video shows that her end goal is to get a law passed.
3. Obviously, the push of this hastag is to help get the law passed.

My question to you. What you think this chick did...Tried to get the law passed and quit because it aint go through? Or do you think she will try again with a different strategy?
