Equal rights and protection under the law, equal pay for equal work, reproductive rights and respect is ignorance?

:usure:

That's being an egalitarian. I support equal rights and protection under the law, but there are pushes for legislation that make women an especially protected class despite the fact that violence is much more likely to happen to men. I also support reproductive rights, but then again, men have absolutely no say in whether they want to be a parent after conception happens. It's all in the woman's court and she can decide to leech off of him for 18 years unilaterally. So much for reproductive rights.

So yes, failing to see both sides of the issue is gross ignorance.

I wish it were legal to kill stupid people. Feminism is a walking contradiction anyway. Feminists want patriarchy where it benefits them (men paying for dates, holding doors, protecting and providing) yet want matriarchy when convenient to them as well. If women truly knew what 100% equality was they would not like that shyt.

Violence against women by men is obviously more extreme than the reverse, the converse, and the opposite, due to the nature of biological physical limitations that women USUALLY have. Usually. Please don't post pictures of swole lesbians saying that all women look like that. Laws are made for the majority not the exception.

As far as a woman "leeching" off a man for 18 years unilaterally... what are you talking about? The divorce laws in the Western World are totally equitable, and actually take into account income more than gender. If a man is working and his wife is taking care of the kids with the income the man is generating, and they split irreconcilably, the man is still obligated to take care of his children at the rate which they are either accustomed to, or the court sees is necessary.

I always figured I was a pretty progressive dude thinking feminism was about equal pay, freedom from oppression, and that kinda stuff. Then I read the Internets.

Few weeks ago I saw an article where this chick said she wouldn't cook, even for herself, because of her feminist principles. She wouldn't dress up even if she was going to dinner or formal events because she didn't wanna be judged as an object. Anything associated with traditional gender roles was completely rejected as sexist.

Guess she set me straight.
