Yeah I liked the show, especially because damn near every character was unlikeable. However unfortunately you can't make a show like that for public consumption. The masses need someone to root for.

it's fantasy fulfillment for women, watching women beat up men excites them because in the real world women are put in situations with men where they wish they could respond with violence but most have the sense to know they need to deescalate the situation because the average man can kill them with their barehands.

British woman 'murdered' on Amazon trip

This rah rah feminist grrrrl power shyt is beyond annoying but if audiences can suspend their disbelief enough to buy a 50+ yr old flabby n sick dude kicking ass and taking out multiple/much younger assailants in the process - (ala Taken, Happy, Longmire, Eastern Promises, Walker Texas Ranger, etc) - then they should damn well be able to suspend it enough to buy a young white woman can do the same doing the same.
