Okay smart guy why don't you share with the rest of what the gender of all the other cabinet posts is? We'll wait.

While you're at it, look at a list of billionaires in the US and tell us how many are men and how many are women. If you all think women got it like that because ONE billionaire out of God knows how many is a women, you MRA dudes really are as dumb as I suspected.

No wonder you're on a forum whining about shyt. Like what else do you have the capacity for?

What the fukk does it matter how many billionaires are woman? Oprah has her own NETWORK, named after HER, how many men have a channel named after them?

If i'm on a forum complaining what the fukk does that make you estrogen filled idiots? arent you on the same damn forum motherfukker?

And as far as the cabinet goes, Hillary Clinton is fukking secretary of state, condeleeza rice might as well have been vp during bushs reign of terror.

What about men who get screwed in court and lose their kids and assets over divorce, custody, etc?
What about paternity fraud, and the domestic violence double-standard?
What about selective service? Men, we can't even vote IIRC until we register for that.
What about the homeless, the suicidal, and the casualties of war, who are mostly men?
If equality is the goal here, then shouldn't discrimination/sexism/injustice/etc be treated as a serious issue when that happens to anybody?
A lot of this stuff is just an inequality picture white men painted in the first place? I honestly don't see why black men are choosing to stand next to this fukkery as if they women't Zimmerman your ass too. Even black women had the Black Feminist movement.

All the stuff you typed here can be traced back to white men You people are being foolish aligning yourself next to them as if your goals are their goals. And these white men are even more foolish for attacking women instead of attacking their counterparts.

Men painted the picture of hypersexuality and female chastity. Men painted the picture of women as nurturers who shouldn't be allowed in the work place but at home with no income. Men painted women as weak beings with no emotions and men as testosterone filled warriors. Men left the households and left the government with the tabs for their children. Men made the rules for conscription/drafting.

All of this loooooooooooong before feminism ever existed. So who are y'all really mad at?

So basically the MRA shyt is just full of whiny man-bytches? :mjpls:
I can't ride with the concept of the wage gap...

I have to ask what positions that statistic (77 cents to a dollar) is taking into account.
In regards to all of the positions that are out there, there are jobs out there that require crazier schedules, hard physical labor, more dangerous work, and a risk of serious injury or death. Most of these positions are taken by men.

Not saying that women CAN'T do them :whoa:

Generally speaking, people working more dangerous jobs like this SHOULD be paid more, in order to compensate for the risk involved. Otherwise, nobody would want to do it.

The second thing I have to ask is that if women are inherently making less (77 cents to a dollar), then why would employers bother to hire men at all when they could save all that money by only hiring women? :ld:

Really? You don't understand that because of perceived weakness/lower intelligence and other sexist stereotypes that women might be unfairly compensated less for the same level of performance? And you don't get that because of these misconceptions about female ability that women might be less likely to get hired for the same jobs? And you don't understand that women might get pushed into lower paying fields because of these same misconceptions, in the same way people push blacks into fields of sports and entertainment due to our perceived lower levels of intelligence rather than field likes business, medicine and the academics which have historically been dominated by whites and continue to do so?

Seriously, I blame the American educational system. Because y'all cannot really be the obtuse. You cannot.

Because I'm a woman and I don't care about those problems. If a white person came whining to me about affirmative action and reverse racism I would swiftly tell him to stfu and learn what it's like to struggle for something, like every other race in the the world has had to do.

Men were chillin for MILLENIA and they see some tiny encroachment in the MASSIVE amount of privilege they take advantage of everyday and expect people to feel sorry them. Sorry, I don't have the time, but I'm sure the MANY men who are in positions of power and influence can help you. Though somehow I get the sense they dot have the time either, because they understand life and man just isn't that bad. Why mess with a good thing you got going?
doesn't answer the question of why you see it as one vs the other. You have a right not to care about men's rights. but i don't understand why you see the issues i stated as going against the issues you stated.

by the way, something to think about, DV against men is WIDELY underreported and seen as a joke as well.

I looked at the Forbes list. Not one Black man from America was a billionaire. Not one. Only one Black woman and she is an entertainer.

Omg thank you so much, b/c I was seriously wtf. Y'all are gonna let white ppl push their issues on you, while they trick you into ignoring your own issues.

There's a reason why I said I don't identify with feminism, because those white women don't care about. They wanted to have the power to oppress minorities the same way their white male counterparts did.

White men can see they are losing their death grip on money and status in this country so they've created this movement to advance their cause. And as usual black ppl are just going along for the ride.

If black men created a movement to advance their cause in the US trust WHITE MEN would be their biggest opposers and even if it's to our detriment black women would be y'all's biggest supporters.

Y'all got the game all the way effed up.

You are talking about women's right but Black women got more money and careers than Black men. It seems like maybe we should stick together instead of get ante up v. the whites. We need to fix our home first before we join any silly groups like this.

Robert Johnson would have stayed on that list if he stayed married to his black wife. But he had to be a messy cheater and get a divorce and their fortune was split up.

How is advancing the cause of low achieving white men ever going to benefit me as a black women. At best it will take my time an energy from the issues I really need to be focusing, at worse I would essentially be digging my own grave.

Both domestic violence and sexual assault/rape are two heavily under reported crimes in the US. There are MANY more women abused and assaulted but remain silent than there are men falsely accused of these crimes. Sexual assault isn't even taken seriously at most universities, the investigation protocol is a joke. Don't even get me started on what's happening to women serving in the military or the women at service academies.

Regarding paternity fraud, there are MANY more women raising children alone without the help of deadbeat father than there are men providing for and/or raising a child that is not their own

Like I guess it's bad news for the small minority of men who deal with the above issues, but trust and believe it's still a man's world out there.

Honestly, I liken MRA to being the gender equivalent of white people complaining about reverse racism and oppression. It's ridiculous.

I will break it down for you: if you work towards making sexual assault harder to prosecute you WILL be making it more difficult for women to report sexual assault and rape when it does happen. If you focus on further cementing male political and economic power, you will be making it more difficult for women (and black women specifically) to advance In these fields. If you loosen paternity laws, it will that much easier for black men to leave their families in effed up situations, even more than do now, if that could even be possible.
