This is what I don't understand about this whole fentanyl shyt: Your customers dying from an overdose is almost a guaranteed jail sentence. Because the very first question law enforcement is going to ask is: Who did they buy it from? Why would you sell them some shyt that almost guarantees they'll overdose? Especially if you tried it yourself and realized something was wrong

I suspect it's just not knowing and a certain level of just inexperience, and incompetence. He almost 100% didn't realize it was fentanyl, would be my guess, just thought it was a bullshyt or different batch.
There is some other research that suggests that the only dealers to actually intentionally mix are usually black, in places like Ohio, and street level dealers trying to hook customers, who may be heroin addicts. It's a pretty thin margin. Sometimes, its accidental cross contamination. But, mostly the cases I read, both parties, believed it to be cocaine, and it wasn't, it's just an error, tragic, but there was no intent to kill anyone.
