I welcome white people who truly grasp what is taking place in Ferguson and in the hearts of all black people in America who are angered by the murder of Michael Brown. However, I hope that even they understand that they can never truly know what it means to be black in this country. Whether they like it or not, they are privileged and the course of their lives is guided by that privilege.
