Watch the name calling were all supposed to be brothers and sisters... But with that being said they went toe to toe for years and received countless losses of life...With the varying reactions I see from a lot of Sisters and brothers I don't feel confidant that they would fight for the cause like the Taliban fighters would.....they rather just have a seat next to the table than to sit at it.

It's not rough at all, even in Atlanta. I found a supermarket and gas station for sale for about 200k each (40k down payment). I'd imagine it's not that expensive in Houston either.

We neither own nor control none of the essentials needed for us to defend ourselves from whites or even allow us to have a decent way of life, which is why I keep bringing up us owning and controlling our own shyt cause right now we ouchea naked.

No one but people are on the economic settings things wholly I am a fan of economic empowerment as well but I also know that a movement is needed to provide security...

We had black business booming in the community we should took it to next level and expand. Unite black forces. when comes to economic power in our community, i think a couple factors why black ownership in predominately black neighborhoods have drastically declined. The ones with real money and education leave their neighborhoods chasing a career (don't own/or open a business). they get better jobs and tend to leave their neighborhoods leaving it wide open for other to come in. Also the black community is split. you have the AA community that's already split from class and there's tension such as influx of African immigrants and Caribbean immigrants. Groups are clashing and alot of black people don't support black business because they think its inferior and and it's culture/class tensions. you have the people in the sidelines who taken advantage of the splintering and distrust within our communities.

most black investors usually turn their nose up at buying properties in predominately black neighborhoods while other races see the advantages of buying up these properties in these areas. they see that even though some of these neighborhoods are crime-ridden, everyone needs shelter as its necessity.The cash flow from these areas are usually quite large than what it would be in a more quality and desirable neighborhood because the purchase price is considerably. we need to change that mindset its the main factor, internalized inferiority. we cant have blacks who refused to live among other black people, look down on ethnic names, ethnic hair, refuse to go to black business, get seen by black health practitioners. many of us have faux self-esteem which manifests in everything including little to no black ownership in black neighborhoods. This plays a huge part in gentrification success.

After the mind-state and bulllshyt. now we get to the difference. There are black business owners especially in the 70's(with the whole black empowerment movement inspired) and currently. however the difference :financing (start up capital-middle stage cap- and maturation cap), insurance redlining, home capital/leverage (foreign subsidies ). lack of financing the racism in banking and loan polices is crazy

Whats funny the 70s was booming with black own business. . We had movements that created pride among our people(black power) and steered us towards that(black self-reliance), it was called the Black Panthers" Party for Self-Defense". They never tell you that, i always believe Huey should had a Federal holiday off GP. He put that pride, knowledge and fight back in us that was missing
