Just another example of US society changing guard on how it relates to the black population. We need to stop allowing people, black or non-black, to taint the dialogue with "what about black on black crime" or "not all cops are bad" or "we need to work on ourselves before we say anything about whites." The time for buck dancing, burying our heads and wringing our hand is over.....same for marching, praying and protesting.
Blacks need to start to take these as signs of what's to come. These incidents have been coming back to back to back lately....I don't take that as coincidence. When Obama became president, I was happy for the image of having a black man in the most powerful position in the world. I believed it was good for the overall psyche of black people, but in terms of society, I feared it would give whites a level of carte blanche so to speak. Along the lines of "well, we have a black president, so all that racism stuff goes out the door." Well, not only has that happened but it's being taken beyond that on some real life "Purge" type sh#t going on out here.
Blacks need to be very practical about their moves right now. Beyond the typical black business and group economics thing, which is crucial, I believe we may need to start doing some more everyday things as well. Like starting to store up on supplies, forming ongoing, organized neighborhood watches with surveillance and arming themselves. All that "trade in your gun for money" campaigns held by the cops are mad suspect....especially with the current climate. People need to be strapping up right now.

Do you think your expectation means anything to the type of person that would do something like this? No disrespect, but blacks like you kill me breh. You think having some code will save you from the discrimination that those with no code, when it comes to you and people like you, will have no issue imposing upon you. Not because you're an individual with rights, humanity and dignity, but because you are part of a group deemed to not have the right to any of those.
A wise man once said, "being a good person does not mean others will be good to you." And being indiscriminately good to those who are not good to you is neither moral nor prudent.
